Last four days we had the pleasure to host an important guest at our headquarters office. Maurizio Levi, Innovation Director of FS Italiane, visited San Francisco with his team to discuss Wi-Life Station, the first virtual portal station delivered to travellers, railway companies and other businesses by Gruppo FS Italiane.
What is Wi-Life Station?
Wi-Life Station uses the Cloud4Wi’s platform to provide visitors with a fast secure WiFi access, plus relevant content and services all in one place. The main goal of Wi-Life Station is to improve travelers’ onsite digital experience in each single phase of their journey. Everything has been designed with the traveler in mind!
The pilot project was launched on May 1st, 2015 in Milano Centrale, Milano Porta Garibaldi and Rho Fiera Expo Milano 2015. The roll-out has been carried out through the support of Almaviva, Italy’s leading Information Technology provider, and WiTech, managed solution and service provider operating in the telco market.
During their visit, We brainstormed about the first amazing results of Wi-Life Station and the design of its future evolutionary scenarios.
We would like to thank Maurizio Levi, Innovation Director of FS Italiane; Alessandra Cofini, IT Demand Manager of FS Italiane; Smeraldo Fiorentini, Vice General Director of Almaviva; Alessandro Chierico, Program Manager of Almaviva; Federica Santini, Senior Advisor of Ernest Young; Gaetano Calcagno, CEO of WiTech; and Francesco Russo, VP Sales of WiTech for visiting us.
