San Francisco – October 1, 2015 – Cloud4Wi, which is revolutionizing Guest Wi-Fi around the world, today announced its selection to the “shortlist” for the “Best Wi-Fi Service Solution for Consumers or Enterprises” award of the WBA Wi-Fi Industry Awards 2015.

Open to the whole industry, the awards have this year attracted entries from vendors and operators from around the world. Cloud4Wi is one of three companies selected as finalists for the award, to be given October 14 in San Jose.

“We are honored to be named a finalist for this prestigious award,” said Andrea Calcagno, co-founder and CEO of Cloud4Wi. “The industry recognition we receive confirms that we must be doing something right in the Wi-Fi space. We are helping companies revolutionize their Guest Wi-Fi, turning an often neglected resource into a strategic tool for increasing customer knowledge and related engagement.”

The 10 Awards, across 5 categories, have been judged independently of the WBA by a panel of preeminent analysts and industry experts led by Joe Madden of Mobile Experts. Cloud4Wi is nominated for Best Wi-Fi Service Solution for Consumers or Enterprises.

“Increasing confidence in the Wi-Fi ecosystem has driven unprecedented acceleration in deployments over the past 12 months as the global ecosystem moves forward with the adoption of next generation Wi-Fi. This in turn has led to an expanded role of Wi-Fi in services, network technologies, management solutions, devices, applications and new ventures. As judges, we were faced with the difficult task of creating a shortlist from an overwhelmingly high standard of entries. I look forward to congratulating the winners at the awards ceremony in San Jose,” said Joe Madden from Mobile Experts.
